The Assistant Pt. 17I spent the rest of the day in the tour bus with Tula. This little dog has been with me when I was unstable. Tula was my anti-depressant. I gather all my courage and went back to the room I was sharing with Frank. I found Frank digging through my bag. “What are doing?” I asked. “Trying to save you.” He had my things scattered on his bed. He pulled out my clothes, Tylenol, my knife, and god forbid my tampons.
